Prestigious industry awards recognise Professor Molloy’s contribution to life sciences

We are delighted to announce that Medicines Discovery Catapult’s CEO, Professor Chris Molloy, has received the Special Recognition Award at the OBN awards, held in London on 17 November.

Professor Molloy received the award for his advocacy of life science innovators, supporting the needs of early-stage R&D companies across the life sciences industry for over 30 years.

OBN is a membership organisation bringing together over 380 of the UK’s emerging life science companies, corporate partners and investors. Now in their 14th year, the annual awards recognise inspirational leadership, exciting innovation, novel approaches to unmet clinical need, outstanding company progression and the delivery of real-life tangible results.

Professor Molloy, CEO of Medicines Discovery Catapult, said:

“I am truly humbled and grateful to receive this award from OBN. It is a daily privilege to work in this industry and amongst such committed people. Life Sciences has such an important purpose and is the ultimate team endeavour. This award genuinely recognises what hundreds of friends and colleagues have achieved and in which I’ve been able to be involved.”
