Following a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Warwick, Lucy joined Medicines Discovery Catapult in April 2021 as a Postdoctoral Scientist.
Lucy has a key role in the biomarkers team to develop bioinformatic tools and pipelines for the visualisation and interpretation of transcriptomic data. Lucy combines knowledge in molecular biology with bioinformatic techniques to interrogate large data sets and translate them into valuable biological information. Developing advanced data processing tools and techniques is essential for maximising the informational output of biological data to improve biomarker identification and advance therapeutic strategies against disease.
