Medicines Discovery Catapult Wins Bionow Business Award

Medicines Discovery Catapult (MDC) has been named ‘Business Support of the Year’ at the annual Bionow Awards, which took place last night (6 March).


Medicines Discovery Catapult (MDC) has wins a Bionow Business award named as ‘Business Support of the Year’ at the annual Bionow Awards.



MDC is a national Life Sciences service dedicated to turning drug discovery into commercial breakthroughs. The Bionow business award recognises MDC’s commitment, professionalism, creativity and success in providing specialist support to the Life Sciences sector.

At the frontier of drug discovery, MDC works with entrepreneurial scientists to validate ideas through its expertise, data, insights and technology, giving them the best chance of commercial success.

Companies supported by MDC have gone on to raise over £1.24bn in R&D investment – increasing jobs, improving productivity, and cementing the UK’s position as a world leader in Life Sciences.

MDC’s approach to drug discovery drives game-changing breakthroughs and improves patients’ lives.​
