The Alderley Park Lighthouse Lab is hosted by Medicines Discovery Catapult at Bruntwood SciTech’s Alderley Park in Cheshire and officially began testing in April.
Professor Sir John Bell GBE FRS, UK Life Sciences Champion, said:

Dr Emma Jones, a Lead Scientist in in vitro Neurobiology at Medicines Discovery Catapult (MDC), has contributed to a new children’s book celebrating the diversity of careers in science.
Investment and expert support will help accelerate the development of new treatments for a range of autoimmune, inflammatory, and age-related diseases.
The centre will provide integrated expertise and evidence generation to help innovators accelerate the development of next-generation RNA medicines.
