Boehringer Ingelheim Office Hours dedicated to Hearing Loss: supporting entrepreneurial research on hearing therapeutics
The Hearing Medicines Discovery Syndicate and Boehringer Ingelheim today announced a Boehringer Ingelheim Office Hours dedicated to Hearing Loss that is open for innovators from academia and early/pre-seeds biotechs globally working on the discovery of treatments for hearing loss and tinnitus.
Designed as a consultative ‘round table’ meeting, the event, which is part of the pioneering Boehringer Ingelheim Grass Roots mentoring initiative, will be held on the 26th and 27th of May. The event will provide selected innovators the opportunity to access pharma R&D expertise and advice in an informal and collaborative environment.
Innovators with an interest in participating are invited to apply by submitting a non-confidential summary about their research, asset or technology, and up to five questions for the Boehringer Ingelheim R&D experts.
Following review of the applications by Medicines Discovery Catapult and Action on Hearing Loss, the selected applicants will be invited to attend the event, where they will have an individual, one-hour session with the Boehringer Ingelheim R&D experts. Throughout their dedicated session, participants will have the opportunity to discuss their submission in relation to topics including data driven research strategy, clinical development, planning and commercial potential.
The aim of the Boehringer Ingelheim Office Hours dedicated to Hearing Loss is to foster research in hearing loss and tinnitus, and to provide innovators with expert guidance on the tools and strategies required to take their research forward to patients.
The industry-leading insight and experience provided through this event will help to progress innovative hearing research projects. Innovators will be provided with the knowledge to help reduce risks, increase efficiencies and maximise the chance of success in securing funding or progressing to the next milestone.
Who can apply?
Innovators from academia and small biotechs (early/pre-seeds), with a focus on hearing therapeutics, who are seeking specific advice and feedback to advance their research programmes towards the next key milestone.
Applicants from any country are eligible to apply and remote access via teleconference will be facilitated for successful applicants to join the event from outside the UK.
